How many months of jail an 18 year old gets for trying to smuggle 80 lb of marihuana?

i have an 18 years old nephew who was caught trying to cross the border with 80 lbs of marihuana, anybody know if he'll be treated as an adult or if he'll go to jail he only has a pport to cross thank you for any information i can get
