Ampeg BA-115 B Amp?

I recently purchased the Ampeg BA-115 100 watt b amp and have been highly impressed. My only complaint is a slight hissing sound, which has always been audible. However, recently the sound has turned into a loud buzz, which occurs intermittently. Why is it doing this? Can it be fixed? Please don't tell me I need to buy a new amp! :(
